muji lego hole puncher

with 5 comments

Muji is great for those simple ideas that makes you go “Why did I not think of that”, and here they go again with a really simple hole-puncher. Yes a hole-puncher, but not one that does a hole or two, but four holes, spaced exactly  that punches a hole so the paper could fit within Lego bricks! The endless possibilities are giving me quite the high! Well, if its not your thing it could at least help you create little punch-out snowflakes four times as fast!

edit: Turns out I was being over excited and the Muji hole punch does just one hole and you will have  to use to template to line four holes up to be able to punch them out right., and we all know how accurate THAT will turn out. Plus way too muh effort if you asked me. Now we could just wish that they would do a four-holed version! Thanks stylembe!

  1. It’s actually a single hole punch, it doesn’t punch four perfectly spaced holes at once. It comes with a plastic template with a grid of holes that you use to trace circles on the paper you wish to punch. Once traced, you line the punch up to your drawn circles and punch away. Quite a lot of effort I’d say.

It would have been better to design it to punch four holes at once.

Good to know before punch is purchaced since returns are an alien concept to Muji.

    • Thanks for the info! You are right its best to know what we are getting into with Muji products. I guess the orientation of the Lego bricks and the different configurations of the holes means that doing a one-holed punch makes more practical sense, but I would not mind having a four-, six-holed punch separately just cos that will be immensely cool!
